| Some proms have already passed and I'm sorry If I didn't post this in time , But for those of you who do have prom coming up ... Here are my tips for you !! You don't have to follow what I tell you.. However , It is recommended :)
1. A lot of people have gotten the air brush makeup on before prom .. And I will say this, THEY WERE NOT IMPRESSED! Once it's on it's hard to get off .. So , If you don't like the colors , or If it is on too dark .. You're pretty much screwed!
2. Don't wear red lipstick . It's tacky! Infact , Do Not wear any lipsticks. Lipsticks will just crack , smudge and wear off ! Plus you look about 10 years older than you really are. A light colored lipgloss ( such as a light pink if that goes well with your skin tone will do just fine ) than top it off with a clear lipgloss.
3. Do Not match your eyeshadow exactly with the dress you are wearing! Light blues or pinks etc are fine. But, you don't want anything too dramatic. Neutrals colors such as Tans , Browns , Whites , Maybe Black ( If you know how to apply it correctly ) and Gold are the best colors to use.
4. Make sure your foundation isn't too dark for you skin! A lot of people go tanning before prom .. But, some people don't realize that they aren't as dark as they think. Lines are not attractive!
5. If you have never done makeup before , go to a professional .. Or If you don't want to spend the extra $$$$ than ask a friend or family member to help you out :P
6. HAVE FUN WITH IT! Remember, your makeup doesn't have to be perfect ( just make sure you don't look like a clown lol ) , Just wear makeup like you normally would , don't over do it . . | If you've read my last entry , you'd know that I currently work @ Six Flags Theme Park in NJ of course :) ! It's actually extremely fun , and the money is a plus. However I do get the occasional jerk-off guests ( as I'm sure every1 does! ) But, considering I work in admissions , I deal with the worst! Simply because I'm not giving them anything exciting or fun , I make them pay to come into the park :) muahaha lol. Normally, when I come across a RUDE guest, I smile and continue on with the rest of my transaction. ONLY this one guest drove me NUTS! And I couldn't help but, give an attitude back..and it was my lovely " F YOU " attitude to be exact ;). She came with her daughter and her daughter's 3 friends. She than complained about the pricing to me, in a rude matter. Uhm.. Do I look like the person who comes up with the prices ?! NO! So anyway , She than starts pissing off the guests behind her, because she was taking 10 million years complaining about the prices. The guest behind her endedup giving her a coupon to recieve $15.00 off regular priced admission. So she said, I want 4 tickets! I gave them to her and she walked away . . Than she comes back and CUTS IN FRONT of the guests she already has pissed off.. and says " YOU ONLY GAVE ME 4 TICKETS, THEY CAN'T GO IN ALONE ! " I replied " You asked for 4 tickets , I'm not going to charge you for a 5th ticket if you didn't actually ask for 5 tickets. " She got more pissed off because I made her look like an idiot ( I can't read minds btw, So how am I supposed to know that she isn't going into the park with the girls . . especially because they are like 16. ) This next thing she said , put me through the roof ! " I DON'T GO ON THE RIDES, SO I GET IN FREE! " Are you kidding me !?!?!?!? I replied back with a smart ass attitude " YOU WILL PAY LIKE EVERY1 ELSE!" , She than yells about my attitude .. Honestly at this point I could give a crap about giving this lady an attitude, she wanted to come @ me from the very beginning with a RUDE IGNORANT attitude .. and expects me to just smile and say she's right. WRONG! :) I also got a guest who asked where she gets the sticker for the parking pass .. And I told her , she needs to go to guest relations. Her too , cut in front of my line and starts yelling about how she needs season passes. WELL YOU DIDN'T ASK FOR THEM! Seriously . what the hell is with people these days .. Do they honestly think I can read minds or something ?! And the next time someone cuts in front of the line and pisses more people off .. I'm going to run out of my booth and kick them in the face ;) LOL. What a stressful day today was! | | |
| It has been a very long time since I have written in an xanga ! 4 years , I believe? I am actually pretty excited to be back . I'm not going to really " recap " too much of what has happened over the past 4 years considering that would take forever! + I graduated highschool in january 2008. + I took a year off from college , but I am going back this fall. + Everyone I went to middle school with and half of highschool with , I am no longer friends with. I actually made friends with a lot of New Yorkers my senior year of highschool . I love those girls to death .. And of course I am still the best of friends with my girl ashley ( If any1 old is reading this entry , you'd know who I am talking about. ) + I've obviously matured a crap load since 8th/9th grade! My spelling and writing is probably a lot better now haha. + I've been through what most highschool teenagers go through , DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA, BOYS BOYS BOYS , etc etc etc. + I don't dance anymore , ever since junior year. . because I wanted the " fun life. " + I had a lot of jobs, and I am currently working at the awesome Six Flags Theme Park! Haha. So I can save up $$$$$$ + I am currently in a wonderful relationship, with my boyfriend joey! He pretty much drives me insane most of the time , but I love him to death! + I cannot think of anything else that I need to catch every1 up on, besides the fact that I have made such amazing memories over the past 4 years with the people who mean the most to me! My friends and family.
Okay so, now that I got every1 caught up! It is time for my blog of the day. Lately I have been feeling like sleep is not an option anymore. Between working , friends , family and boyfriend .. plus tons of other crap I need to get done during the day , I rarely have anytime to actually have a goodnight rest. And honestly, I have kind of gotten used to it by now. Today I did some laundry , and I still have more to do tomorrow . I still need to turn in my pay checks as well! I got ashley ready for this huge party tonight , which I obviously didn't attend..mostly because I don't have the energy. I cleaned up the huge pile of mess that I left in my room ( well most of it ) , and I went to my doctor's this morning. Oh yeah , I also attempted to look into phones, but that led to a fight between my mother and I because what should take a day or two , takes two years when it comes to her getting things done. Thats probably where I get that from. Hm, So I some what got things accomplished today ? Maybe not as much as I would have liked to get done. Which is funny because today was supposed to be " get everything done day " for my boyfriend and I so that we didn't have to deal with it over the weekend. So much for that idea! Now I have work at 9am and I need to get my families season passes, plus the 900 other things that I didn't finish today! Ugh. On a happier note, my boyfriend is getting an apartment. The one he orginally was looking at I didn't care much for , but this new one he is looking into , caught my eye for sure! I'll deal with what he gets lol. I won't lie though , It hasn't been easy this past week with all the stress in both our lives especially when it comes down to money. Speaking of money $$$ , I wish I had that right about now , So I could get my nails re-done. Well it is time for me to go call the bf , and than try and get to sleep tonight!
